Lachman Khubchandani holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is Founding Director of the Centre for Communication Studies in Pune and a Professor of Linguistics who has taught not only in India but also several other countries including Singapore and the Sudan. He has several authored publications in the areas of communication and culture including: Plural Languages, Plural Cultures; Language, Culture and Nation-building; and, Revisualizing Boundaries.
